Yoga FAQ
Absolutely! Yoga is for everyone, regardless of age, fitness level, or flexibility. Our teachers are trained to offer modifications and variations to make each pose accessible to all students
We recommend practicing yoga 2-3 times per week to experience the full benefits. However, even practicing once a week can have a positive impact on your physical and mental health.
Yoga Mat: Please bring your own yoga mat. If you do not have one, we have mats available for purchase or rent at the studio.
Water Bottle: Staying hydrated is important during your practice. Please bring a water bottle to keep yourself refreshed.
Props (Optional):
If you have your own props such as blocks, straps, or bolsters that you’d prefer to use, feel free to bring them. We also provide all necessary props for use during classes
We recommend wearing comfortable, stretchy clothing that allows you to move freely during poses. Yoga is practiced barefoot, so no shoes are necessary.
Unlike stretching or other fitness training, yoga is more than just physically working your body. Within the physical practice of yoga, we connect the movement of the body to the rhythm of our breath, which helps to focus and relax the mind by directing our attention inward. Yoga can improve your body’s strength, flexibility and balance whilst also calming your mind, improving your posture and how you breathe.
